Our McKenzie Friend Practitioner Accreditation is designed for individuals who support Litigants in Person in family proceedings.

Accredited McKenzie Friends are able to:

• Support parents and carers to understand the Family Court process

• Help organise and prepare documents, statements, and timelines

• Provide practical and emotional support before, during, and after hearings

• Maintain strict legal boundaries and never misrepresent themselves as solicitors or barristers

• Place safeguarding and child welfare at the center of their practice

Accredited practitioners have demonstrated knowledge, skills, ethics, and professional conduct compatible with safe, lawful Family Court support.

Training alone does not equal accreditation.
Accreditation confirms compliance, accountability, and safeguarding oversight.
